Pumpkin Spice Craze Hits Unsuspecting Treasure Valley Restaurant

It's no secret that when the first leaf in the Treasure Valley falls, I'm all about slipping on some boots, a scarf and beelining to the nearest coffee shop for any warm Pumpkin Spice beverage I can get my hands on.  I never thought I'd see pumpkin spice at this restaurant thought! 

Call me a creature of habit, but I probably eat Subway sandwiches at least three days a week.  When my show on 103.5 KISS FM is over at 2 p.m., nothing hits the spot like a toasted oven roasted chicken sandwich on Italian herbs and cheese with melted provolone, ranch and a dab of guacamole.  When I went to visit my normal sandwich peeps at the Subway on Apple Street last week, I was shocked at what I saw in the cookie case!

That's right, Subway (at least this one in Southeast Boise) has joined the Pumpkin Spice game! Finish your sandwich combo with their Pumpkin Spice cookie! I had one with my sandwich and it was really, really good!
