Several Treasure Valley schools are unveiling their plans for making up missed days due to Snowpocalypse and they don't necessarily mean going to school well into the summer.

According to KIVI-TV, Middleton High School plans to make up their 17 instructional hour deficit by extending their school days just a little bit between the end of January and the end of the regular school year. The plan prevents Middleton High students from giving up holidays and planned breaks throughout rest of the year.

Starting Monday, school days will be extended by 15 minutes until the end of the year.  That means school ends at 3:05 on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and 2:15 on Wednesday.

These changes ONLY affect Middleton High School.  K-8 schools and Atlas High students still have enough hours left to meet state standards.
