Nooooo! Say it isn't true! One of your favorite pieces of clothing might be a health hazard.  One staple in your closet could put you in the hospital.

A medical journal published a warning today saying that your skinny jeans might be bad for your health.  The article told the story of a woman that was wearing skinny jeans for hours while she helped a friend empty cupboards during a move.  When her legs started to ache, she just assumed it was pain from squatting all day but fell on her walk home.  The poor thing fell, couldn't get back up and laid on the side walk for hours before being able to get the attention of a taxi driver.

By the time she got to the hospital her legs had swollen up so much that she had to have the skinny jeans cut off by doctors.  Neurologists said the swelling was caused by the skinny jeans cutting off her blood supply.  She ended up spending four days in the hospital and suffered nerve damage and leg weakness.

Doctors say there's no reason to pitch your skinny jeans ASAP because this type of injury only happens if you've been squatting or kneeling for a long period of time.  I'm far from a medical professional, but if you ask me...this is just more evidence that if you want to rock the tight jean look that comfy jeggings are the way to go!
