According to Elite Daily these are some of the questions every woman wants to ask their ex after a break-up.

  • Did you love me, or did you just say it to appease me?
  • Do you still think about me, especially when you're lonely?
  • Did you ever think you'd marry me?
  • Did you cheat on me, either emotionally or physically?
  • Do you think about me when you're drunk?
  • Do you still visit the places we used to love going?
  • What have you told your new girlfriend about me?
  • Did you throw away all the mementos of our time together?

Ladies, is it just me or does it hurt you even thinking about what the potential answers to these questions would be? Believe me there was a time where I would've wanted to know these answers for closure, but now I could care less.  Maybe it's because I'm happy and secure in my current relationship, or maybe it's because I've done some growing up when it comes to dating.

Can I talk to you girls feeling like you need the answers to these questions right now?

These are questions you're asking to validate how horrible you feel in the wake of the break-up and if you're actually enough to be worth being loved. You are absolutely validated in feeling sad.  Chances are you've been with this guy for a while and now the person you loved to tell everything to is gone.  It's a loss and you're allowed to be sad.  As for wondering if you're enough.  You absolutely are enough.  Don't think for a second that you're not because he left you.  It's the universe's way of telling you this isn't your person and that's OK.

Let me challenge you to NOT want the answers to these questions.  Stop giving someone who is no longer part of your life the power to hurt you.  The best advice I was ever given about moving on was "If it's not honoring you, get rid of it.  It doesn't deserve a place at your table."
