Big City Coffee in Center of National Controversy

In a land of Starbucks, Dutch Bros and other coffee chains, Big City Coffee has made a name for itself in the Treasure Valley but thanks to the Washington Redskins the local coffee shop is getting national attention.

It's not the attention the coffee, pastry and breakfast restaurant wants.  Big City sells a coffee can named "Big Titty Blend" as part of their Joes Cans for a Cause.  The owner and two other friends started the fundraiser to help fund early detection mammograms in honor of the people in their lives they knew suffering from breast cancer.

While it's been a big hit in the Treasure Valley this year, the Washington Redskins used the name of it in their long list of trademarks more offensive their name.  "Big Titty Blend" found itself next to "Baked By A Negro Cookies," "Party With Sluts," and "Redneck Army apparel."

The owner is shocked to be among the names in the Redskins list and thinks that the team's lawyers don't even know what the brand is about.  The other Joes Cans for a Cause selections include Bra-zillian Brew and Double D Decaf.
