Boise State Ignored in Week 6 Rankings

Boise State had such an impressive showing in Wyoming last night, it's tough for any Boise State fan to be too concerned about the rest of the season. After really struggling on the road in Stillwater, Oklahoma against Oklahoma State--for many, the composure of this football team was a concern. With the Broncos coming out of the gates swinging, it was an easy game to watch.

Of course, this game ended with a dominating win against a Wyoming team that has in the past, given Boise State some real challenges. Over the past two weeks, Boise State hasn't been a part of the AP Poll's Top 25 but rather they've been among the top teams "receiving votes" to get in. Sitting in at #26 for this time, I thought for sure a win like we saw lat night would get us back among the top. If you can believe it, Oklahoma State beat us again, this time taking the last ranked spot. Boise State once again, not ranked in the AP Poll and yes--is sitting as the team receiving the most votes NOT in the top 25.

In the USA Today/Coaches Poll, Boise State jumped one spot to be #24.
