I am pretty psyched for the grand opening of what was almost Bogus Brewing.  The new brewery is moving into the old Venue space on Broad Street, but when it opens on June 13th, it'll need a new name.

The community brewery is offering Treasure Valley residents ownership in the company with an investment of $1,000.  So far 232 people have taken advantage of buying that stock.  According to the Idaho Statesman those shareholders are now looking for a new name for the brewery at the request of the Bogus Basin Recreational Association.  The brewery originally chose the name to celebrate an Idaho location much like Payette Brewing in Garden City, Sun Valley Brewing Company and the now defunk Table Rock Brewing did.  After several meetings with Bogus Basin's people, the brewery decided the best decision was to come up with a new name to set it totally apart from one of the Treasure Valley's favorite winter hangouts.

The crappiest part about the situation is the brewery only came onto the radar of the ski resort after asking for a meeting to set up a charity relationship with their Snowboarder Porter.  They wanted to offer the mountain $1 of every keg sold.

Needless to say, the brewery needs some ideas for a new name...preferably with the initials BB because they've already been stained onto the floor of the brewery's new home.  The only problem?  There's thousands of breweries around the US and even though they've gotten some great suggestions on their Facebook page, most of those great names have already been taken.  Think you can help them out?
