If you're the type who likes to keep their finger on the pulse of all things crime-related happening in Boise, you're probably used to hearing the same stories over and over:

  • Someone was arrested for drinking and driving
  • A small-time burglary occurred in the middle of the night
  • Carol called the cops again because her neighbors were playing music too loud at 4:15 p.m. on a Sunday

Typical stuff. Nothing really worth noting. Until you read about what happened yesterday, Tuesday, July 25th, in Boise.

Boise resident Craig Stevenson has been charged with felony aggravated battery, two counts of felony kidnapping, and misdemeanor resisting and obstructing. Phew. That's a mouthful. What the hell did he do?

After arriving at a local hospital, two victims told police Stevenson had kidnapped them, as well as stabbed one of the victims on the 900 Block of East Holly Street in Boise. They were held captive by Stevenson for hours before escaping to get help.

While we don't yet know what the perp's time behind bars will be, here's to hoping it's a long, long, long, long, looong long time.

This isn't the only crime happening around Boise. Recently, a robbery was caught on camera in Boise. It's almost like the suspect didn't realize that pretty much every store on the face of the Earth has security cameras in 2023:

We can't imagine how scary it would be to have his guy walk into someone's late-night shift!

Crime related content here. The Idaho murder suspect's camera stops that were caught on camera give us the absolute creeps. It's going to be interesting to see what his ultimate fate will be once everything is said and done:
