I love a good cause. It's no secret that April holds a very special place in my heart, my career, and in our community over the last decade.

Each April we hold our annual Child Abuse Prevention and Awareness Campaign, Live for 175. Unfortunately, we had to postpone this year due to COVID-19 and the state-wide stay at home order. It was not an easy decision, to say the least, but the health and safety of our community had to come first.

If you didn't already know, April also brings awareness to autism. This was the very first Scentsy warmer that I bought 10 years ago. That's when I was introduced to what Autism is and how amazing they are. You might or may not know that April 2 was Autism Awareness Day and I've met so many people through our child abuse campaign who also champion this cause and who have shed light on it's importance to me. Right now we're restricted in so many ways due to COVID-19 in our communities, but there are always small ways to show support.

CHIP Cookies in Boise is calling awareness to Autism with a themed, blue (color of the campaign) Cookie Monster Chip cookie! Whether or not you know someone impacted by Autism or not, you can still show support. For the last week of this month, order a bo or two of these cookies. Not only are you showing support and awareness, but it's also an opportunity to boost local business and they deliver right to your doorstep in Boise.

We ordered some tonight. Lennox and Leno loved them with a nice blue face 😂Make sure to order this week and a portion of each purchase will go towards Autism Awareness. I've listed a link to CHIP cookies for more information on these delicious cookies.
