Deep Fried Starbucks Coffee Is Now A Thing

It seems like when it comes to fair food, you can deep fry just about anything but I never thought this would be a thing!

The San Diego County Fair is taking it's fair food to the next level at it's ever popular Bacon-A-Fair booth.  The booth is serving up deep friend Starbucks coffee in an actual Starbucks cup! Wonder how it's done?

Deep fried Starbucks is really more like a doughnut hole than a cup of coffee.  Coffee grounds, cream and sugar are deep fried inside dough and topped with whipped cream.

No word on how many calories are in one of these bad boys, but I venture to guess the count is pretty damn high.  They do sound better than some other strange deep fried fair fare like fried beer (Texas,) fried butter (Iowa) or fried Kool-Aid (California)!
