Most of us have worked for some horrible companies, I worked for a company that would make you pay for office supplies. These financial wizards would add up the money they spent on supplies every month and then take it out of the employees  paycheck in an even split. The other thing they figured out is that if they paid us on the 5th and 15th instead of the first and 15th is that they would somehow make more money on interest. Meanwhile we were trying to figure out how to pay our rent on time every first of the month. To be fair most of us have also worked for some good companies. The best company I worked for matched one hundred percent of our 401k contributions and they would give us a free turkey on Thanksgiving and as well as a small cash bonus at Christmas time.

However from time to time you hear of companies that go above and beyond for their employees. Recently a company in Boise gave all of their employees a 30k raise. All of their employees not just some of them. Impressive right? Well, a real estate firm in Baltimore just raised the bar to the next next level by announcing a HUGE cash bonus.

I love reading stories like this one I found on ktvb.com

On its website, St. John Properties said all of its 198 employees will share a $10 million bonus. The company said on average, employees will receive about $50,000, which is based solely on the number of years of service. Some will receive upwards of $250,000, reported CBS-affiliate KUTV.

Are you curious as to what the big boss had to say?

“To celebrate the achievement of our goal, we wanted to reward our employees in a big way that would make a significant impact on their lives,” said company founder Edward St. John. “I am thankful for every one of our employees, for their hard work and dedication. I couldn’t think of a better way to show it.”
