It's April and Live for 175 kicks off this Saturday, April 14th at The Village at Meridian. This is our 11th annual event where the Treasure Valley takes a stand against Child Abuse. I've been privileged to see this event grow and evolve into what it is today. I recently met with some volunteers and explained to them how unique this event is to the Boise area, meaning no other communities I've lived in were not engaged enough to pull something like this off. Think about it for a second, were asking hundreds of people to take time out of their busy day, come down, and jump on a bicycle to power our radio station while we talk about child abuse. We have enough confidence in our community that we are risking the station, and possibly our jobs if the power goes out. It's incredible.

One key difference Live for 175 will have this year is the entire 175 hours of the station broadcast will be powered by the community. If you pedal, you power.

Another addition in 2018 is the creation of the Midnight Madness Ryders. Midnight Ryders who ride from midnight to 5 a.m. will score a pair of general admission tickets to Boise Music Festival on Saturday, June 23rd at Expo Idaho. The select few who sign up to ride from 2 a.m. to 4 a.m. will receive the most exclusive gear, a custom Live for 175 Midnight Madness Ryder backpack along with tickets to this years Boise Music Festival*. This is a great way to score some tickets and special gear while helping spread the message that 'it shouldn't hurt to be a child'.
