My wife just ran into our little quarantine office to tell me that a neighbor was on her favorite show, Live with Kelly and Ryan.

I started watching the video and it's a story we heard about last week. Ryan Cranney of Oakley, Idaho did some do good for the city but had no idea people would travel from all over the country.

Kelly and Ryan interviewed Mr. Cranney during their Good News Story of the Day feature and it's pretty awesome. We all know that farmers across the country are hurting and instead of getting rid of millions of potatoes they became precious giveaways. We've seen restaurants shut down across the country and that means nobody is buying those great potatoes. So, Cranney Farms decided to give them away to whoever wanted them.

The funny thing about that was the abundance of calls they got including people coming from Las Vegas to score some free potatoes. I love this story, great interview, and amazing little town. I met my wife in Boise at the Albertsons off Parkcenter and we got married in Oakley. I love to drive in when the harvest is going on and it's just beautiful during all seasons.

Thanks for making us proud Ryan!
