Taco Bell Pulling 2.3 Million Pounds of Seasoned Beef, What About Idaho?

Nooooooooooooo! This is could have derailed my life if I was a big "Run to the Border" guy. I do love a Nachos Bellgrande and some crunchy tacos but this recall sucks 👎

This transpired over the weekend and what started in a few states was extended to 21 states. Taco Bell has recalled 2.3 million pounds of season beef from its fast-food restaurants in 21 states. What about Idaho?

We called our local spots in Boise yesterday and was surprised by the answer. First, it was hard getting an answer online on which states were impacted by the recall. Luckily, the local Taco Bell representative said they weren't a part of the recalled states. Nachos Bell Grande with ground beef is still on baby!

Most of the states impacted by the recall are on the East Coast and nothing indicates what I'm reading that we are close. Why the recall on seasoned beef? The Department of Agriculture's food safety and Inspection Service announced, "may be contaminated with extraneous materials, specifically metal shavings."

We'll keep you posted if anything gets too close for comfort on the West Coast regarding recalls.
