I remember exactly where I was when news of the bombing at an Ariana Grande show in Manchester came out. Initial reports looked like chaos, it looked awful and shocking. And then as details came out and you knew just how bad it was, it was shocking.

Today will mark three years since the bombing that killed 22 fans at an Ariana Grande show in Manchester, England.

A couple days ahead of the tragic anniversary, Ariana posted to her Instagram Story to remember the tragedy and send love to her fans.

“I want to take a moment to acknowledge and send my love to everyone that is feeling the sadness and tremendous heaviness of the anniversary coming up this week. Not a day goes by that this doesn’t affect you and all of us still. I will be thinking of you all week and weekend. My heart, thoughts, prayers are with you always.”

She ended the post with an emoji of a bee, which is considered the official symbol of Manchester.
