A few weeks ago Mateo and I were doing a $500 sticker stop at the Majestic Marketplace West strip mall on Overland and we noticed that they were building a new taco shop. The first thing that stood out to me was the name... Taco Cow. I thought well that's different I wonder what the food will be like. Today we found out.

Before we go any further allow me to state my disclaimer / mission. We do not accept free food because the purpose of the Taco Tuesday review is to give the KISS-FM listeners / reader an unbiased opinion. If we accepted free food we may feel obligated to give someone a more favorable review and that violates the purpose.

As you can imagine I've been to many taco shops and Mexican restaurants but never to one with such a unique name. Taco Cow immediately proved to be different, it's not your typical taco shop, it's not an outta the way taco truck or a place that specializes in street tacos. In my opinion the best way to describe Taco Cow is... gourmet tacos for people that would rather not pay $7.00 per taco. The selection of tacos is extensive at Taco Cow and just to give you an idea how much variety they have let me share our order.

Carne Asada Taco

California Taco

Taco Shrimp

Cauliflower Taco

Fiesta Chicken Taco

Bacon & Peaches Taco

By the way the most expensive taco we had was $2.50. The selection alone is reason enough to try this place multiple times. My favorite taco was the California because anytime you add fries to anything, it always gets better. I've had a California burrito before with fries but never a California taco and to that I say... well done. Both Mateo and I give Taco Cow 4 out of 5 tacos for their Taco Tuesday Review.
