Family drama alert from our neighbors in Utah.

A couple of years ago, Tilli Buchanan and her husband took off their shirts to prevent them from getting dirty while working in their garage in Utah. Buchanan's stepchildren mentioned her toplessness in passing to their birth mother, who reported it to police.

Buchanan ended up being charged with three counts of lewdness and if convicted, must register as a sex offender. Yikes. She's fighting the charges, citing a court ruling that overturned a topless ban in Colorado and claiming that the Utah law is unfair because it treats men and women differently.

Which seems legit, because as the AP reports, her husband was not charged with a crime for not wearing a shirt around the house.

This story is beyond me, I don't really have words for all of it because it sounds like the mom may have been being petty when she reported her ex's new wife, but yeah: fair is fair. If men can be topless, women should be able to be as well. I'm with the free the nipple movement!
