Time magazine has spoken, and they have named superstar Taylor Swift as their "Person Of The Year." Even if you don't care for her, it's hard to argue. She put on one of the biggest tours of our lifetime, is re-releasing her entire catalog under her own watch, and her Eras Tour movie was an absolute smash hit in theaters.

That's great and all, but is Taylor Swift Idaho's Person of the Year? Let's look at the facts.

Like it or not, Idahoans are talking about Taylor Swift. At one point, it was rumored the singer was going to make a guest appearance at a Boise State Football game. That didn't come to fruition. Oh, then there was a rumor that Swift was actually banned from attending Boise State games.

Soon after, many Gem State locals aired their disdain for Swift, even though they didn't give a specific reason.

Is Taylor going to be headlining Boise Music Festival in 2024? Again, another Taylor-topic that Idahoans are hot on right now.

Perhaps you're thinking "Taylor doesn't affect me here in Idaho!" Perhaps. But did you know that Taylor Swift fans are no longer able to dine at this restaurant in Meridian?

Don't you worry. If you still need your fill of Taylor, fans in Idaho have put together a petition to get Taylor to perform in Idaho in 2024. The last time Swift performed for us here in the Gem StateWay back in 2009. However, you can experience some of Taylor's biggest hits at this Boise Church who are celebrating her recent successes.

Wait, with all this talk of Taylor in Idaho, will she be featuring any Idaho footage in her Eras Tour movie? And on that tip, don't bring these things with you if you're going to see Taylor's movie in Boise.

Some have called Taylor Swift a good luck charm for the Kansas City Chiefs: They were on a 4-0 winning streak of games she attended, until now. Swift was in the stands to cheer on her boyfriend Travis Kelce, and although the team lost to the Green Bay Packers, Swift still stunned in matching black-and-red looks with Brittany Mahomes and Lyndsay Bell (two of the wives of Chiefs players) at the game.
